Project Narrative

Principal-in-Charge/Project Manager. JMT was involved in three major projects for jetBlue at DCA. The first project was when jetBlue introduced service to DCA. This project included the complete demolition of the interior of Terminal A with reconstruction of ticketing lobby; new inbound conveyor, two new jetbridges including new foundations, new outbound TSA bag room, hold room modifications and aircraft apron survey. The second project was Start-Up Phase 2 that included the TSA outbound bag room expansion, second in-bound conveyor, new BSO and airline support space. The design was complete but this project was halted due to the AA/US merger. The third project was the Relocation of jetBlue to Concourse B and this included the buildout of lower level support space, four holdrooms, ticket counter and baggage service office with complete IT/fiber network. Giuliani Associates was not involved in this project.
